The hospitality in Seaventures Dive Resort was great.
As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with a cold glass of orange juice.. Nyumm..
And lunch.. Nyumm nyumm..
Anyway, it was a busy day. After lunch, we had a short break, change clothes.. and to Kapalai we went..
From Semporna to Seaventures @ Mabul, the view was just.. SEMPURNA!! (perfect)

Ouchh, I just created a ‘classier’ spelling of Semporna, and somebody had already poked me in my eyes!
Seems I have to lay off the drama of ‘Sempoerna’ and stick to plain old ‘Semporna’.. *ahaks*
OK, let’s proceed..
We went from Tawau to Sempoerna.. oops.. Semporna by van. The journey took one to two hour.. can’t really remember.. Nothing much to be seen except for some palm oil trees.. Marshall announced, “Yes lady and gentleman, as you can see, on your right hand-side there are Sabahan palm oil trees”.. yeah right.. As if Sabahan palm oil is different than the normal Semenanjung-ian or Sarawakian palm oil! :p
We stopped by a shop to buy some packed foods, and then we went to the Seaventures office in Semporna. Dropped by the office, signed off some documents, and walla.. we went off to the jetty..
Yeah yeah.. I know how to spell ‘Semporna’ correctly by now.. haha

Atim and I..
After a short nap in the plane, we arrived in Tawau.. safe and sound.
Reality kicked in.. My paranoia was baseless..
I had been traveling with Atim all these years. She’s the easiest, carefree travel-buddy cum best friend I have.. so there’s nothing to worry about. Although I knew Ijah in a short while, since she’s Atim’s sister, she must be as friendly and independent as Atim is.
And a call to my mom soothed lots of things up.

Plus, we were in good hands.
We had Amy. The best travel-buddy a person could wish for.
An advance diver, and soon-to-be (at that point of time, now - confirmed) the best Miss Narcossis ever existed.. haha!
Zalinah. An advance diver, and lead underwater photographer/videographer in the trip. (She took LOTS of interesting pictures!)

Marshall. Diving instructor and (turun to be) no 2 underwater photographer since Amy’s pictures caused his camera to broke down. Haha!
Yeah yeah.. I exaggerated a bit.. So What?
Next destination, Sempoerna!!!
This was still like a dream. Was I in KK airport going to Tawau?
I like snorkeling. But how about them? I asked myself.
I was hopeful everything would be fine.
